Plug In - know how Machining 65 e , at PLUG IN, are very much concerned by the quality of even the smallest spare component used into our hermetic feedthroughs or assemblies. Our components are machined from the very best quality of mate- rials by high skilled workers using the latest up-to-date numerical controlled grinders , lathes and screwmachines. For instance the body of our feedthroughs are made from aeronautic grade aluminium alloys and the vacuum anges, female screwlocks or threaded inserts (helicoil) are made of stainless steel. During and after machining, all those components are going through a very tight and careful inspection and then are ultrasonic cleaned to insure an optimal adhesion of our sealing epoxy compound. The connectors are always supplied by the most professional sources selected as military grade items (space grade upon request) with hard gold plating of the contacts. It guaranties reliability and durability . We are proud to say that many of our parts delivered almost 20 years ago are still in use !
