A number of ber optic links have to go through a pannel separating two volumes hermetically insulated (vacuum, liquid, gas, temperature, radiations, etc.). A ber optic connexion is generally made of two male connec- tors with a female coupling part. It is this coupling part, with FC/PC, FC/APC or SMA interface, which will be the base of this range of hermetic feedthrough. A standard coupling part between two connectors is a precision part which allows the alignment of the connectors ferrules. In the hermetic feedthrough this coupling part is made longer and a piece of ber is glued inside to obtain an hermetic optical path. This ber is chosen to match the bers to be connected at each end of the feedthrough. We o er the widest range of single-mode and multi-mode optical bers.
